Alyssa Ciarrocchi is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and education professional based in Hammonton, New Jersey. With a career rooted in teaching, behavioral therapy, and special education, she is committed to helping children reach their full potential through compassionate and individualized support. From an early age, Alyssa knew she wanted to work in education. She was actively involved in programs such as Little Flyers, a disability-focused hockey organization, which helped shape her passion for supporting individuals with special needs. She attended Clearview Regional High School before earning her undergraduate degree from Rowan University in 2010, graduating with honors. Her studies included a major in K–5 Education, a Writing Arts minor, and a reading certification. She continued her education at St. Joseph’s University in Pennsylvania, earning a Master’s degree in Special Education in 2014. She later returned to Rowan University to complete her Learning Disabilities Teaching Consultant certification in 2015 and went on to earn her Applied Behavior Analysis certification from Capella University in 2019. Alyssa began her career in education as a teacher, working at Triton High School from 2010 to 2015 and Clearview High School from 2016 to 2018. She transitioned into behavioral therapy in 2018 as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), gaining hands-on experience working directly with children and families. In 2021, she became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), expanding her role to include program development, behavioral assessments, and family guidance. Her professional approach is centered on empathy, patience, and understanding. She believes that meaningful progress comes from building trust with families and seeing each child’s potential through a compassionate lens. Outside of her career, Alyssa is deeply family-oriented. She is a mother of two and values spending time with her children, traveling, and creating meaningful experiences with family and friends. She has also completed two marathons, reflecting her dedication and perseverance. Alyssa continues to focus on making a positive impact in the lives of the children and families she works with, combining professional expertise with a genuine commitment to care.
